Aspen Gets In On The Fun! The Colorado Snow Keeps Falling!

This year the winter ski season is getting an early start, with second major snow storm is currently plowing it’s way through the Colorado Rockies and has already dumped more than 16 inches of snow. The snow is pretty heavy and wet (it mid October people) but talk about the perfect base for light December snow falls!
I have never had the chance to ski Aspen myself, although I am some what familiar with the mountain and what it has to offer. If your into glitz, glammer and nights out on the tower … head to Aspen. Aspen is the resort for the well to do, if your into luxury and class accommodations you will surely find them at aspen.
Their are several resorts in “Aspen” including Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands (which boasts a huge vertical drop of over 4,000 feet) and Snowmass. If your a beginner then head to Buttermilk, Snowmass is the favorite mountain of intermediate skiers and Aspen is the place to ski if you more advanced.
October has really given skiers (and the resort owners) of Colorado a sense of anticipation as the snow keeps falling. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come – and come again
