Snow making is now underway at the two most popular Aspen resorts - Snowmass and A-Jax Mountain which is also known as “Aspen”. In other news the Elk Camp Gondola is still scheduled to open on December 16th.

The new Elk Camp gondola in Snowmass is set to open on December 16th of this year, which will give skiers and snowboarders a warm ride up to Elk Camp. Not many resorts in North America can boast of having two gondolas!
