Tucked away in the breath taking mountains of Vernon, New Jersey you will find Hidden Valley Ski Resort.  Many families enjoy Hidden Valley Ski Resort because it is so family oriented.  Whether you are in the area and just want to ski for the day or want to take a family vacation and spend several days on the slopes, there is never a dull moment at Hidden Valley Ski Resort.  There are many different activities for the entire family to enjoy together.  Adults and the children can have a great deal of fun at Hidden Valley Ski Resort.  You can enjoy children’s programs, adult programs and even ski racing at this fine resort.

Children love to learn to ski and to ride the lifts.  At Hidden Valley Ski Resort there are three programs that are specifically for children.  The Ski Wee program at Hidden Valley Ski Resort is geared for children ages 4 years old through 12 years old.  This is a half day or full day ski lesson to teach children to safely ski and includes a refreshing, hot chocolate break and even lunch for the full day lessons!  The Ski Wee program is offered daily and designed for children at all different skill levels of skiing.  

Skiing isn’t the only fun activity for Hidden Valley Ski Resort.  Many people enjoy the fun of snowboarding.  With the Mini Riders program at Hidden Valley Ski Resort, the children in the family can also enjoy this great activity.  Like the Ski Wee program, the snowboarding program offers half or full day lessons with a lunch for the full day sessions.  Children of all skill levels are taught and encouraged to enjoy the fun of snowboarding.

Would you like your children to become ski or snowboarding experts?  A fun and educational afterschool program is the Mountain Masters program for children between the ages of 5 years to 14 years.  The program is 5 weeks and you select the day of the week that is best for you.  Children participate in the program in the evening and there are lessons available for all skill levels.  Your child gets to learn in the one hour group lessons with other kids that are on the same skill level and chaperones assist with practicing the techniques learned.

There are two fun workshops specifically designed for adults that enjoy snowboarding and skiing at Hidden Valley Ski Resort.  Adults are grouped together in the Adult Workshop based on skill level and the class ratio is low to make certain that you get the individual attention and instruction that you need.  This program runs for five exciting weeks of instruction, social time with other skiers and excitement. Enjoy a three hour session with a professional snowboarder in the Women’s Snowboard Workshop.  After you are finished with the lessons and practice, you can enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with the others in your group and free riding time with the instructor.  The Women’s Snowboard Workshop at Hidden Valley Ski Resort offers a great chance for women snowboarders to fine-tune their skills or learn a new sport!

Skiing and snowboarding aren’t the only fun activities at Hidden Valley Ski Resort.  You can enjoy ski racing at this resort as well.  The Hurricanes race team is specifically for novice ski racers that want to learn the sport.  The Hot Shots team is for children ski racers that are new to the sport between the ages of 7 and 12 years.  The USSA Race programs are geared after the US Olympic Team Ski program and specifically designed for children that are on the more advanced levels of skiing.  For adults and high school students that are experienced in ski racing you will enjoy hours of fine-tuning your ski racing skills with the Highschool/Masters Adult Program.
