Keystone Ski Resort Mountain Webcam

Scheduled to open for the 2006 – 2007 ski season on November 10th the Keystone ski area is hugely popular among families for it’s mountain, ski village, restaurants and nightlife. The keystone cam comes courtesy of Keystone Resort and shows just how much snow the resort has already received (as of this post October 21).

While I lived in the Denver area I was never too keen on Keystone, at the time the mountain had much less blue / black terrain, most of the resort by my standards was fairly tame. However over the last twenty years Keystone has gone to great lengths to appeal not only to families but skiers looking for a challenge by the way of steep bowls and black diamond runs.

I would be interested to see (ski) the resort once more after all of the upgrades and mountain expansion. You can’t beat the ski village which boasts a skating rink, tons of retail shops and plenty of nice hotels and ski lodges. Keystone is not Vail but it does offers the “whole resort” feel at cheaper prices than Vail.
