More Ski Parties Planned - 36 Hours Of Keystone
Keystone resort located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains is a fantastic family friendly resort that has a fair share of easier runs as well as a quaint little ski village and even an ice skating rink. To kick of the 2006 – 2007 ski season Keystone is planning a fun party that will last 36 hours! The party will feature live music as well as a summit sunrise breakfast (sounds kinda fun – I hope it is a clear morning for great views of the sunrise). Of course their will be plenty of skiing and snow boarding, 36 hours worth in fact. The Colorado resort will also have a mini film festival and a crazy contest that will have ski teams (between two and four per team) skiing all 36 hours (between the teammates thank goodness).
I have skied Keystone myself when I lived in Colorado, I found it a bit too tame for my liking. However over the last ten years Keystone has added additional more difficult terrain for both skiers and boarders alike. If your thinking about taking the whole family skiing this winter I would recommend several Colorado resorts including Keystone, Copper Mountain and of course Vail (which is a bit spender).
