Telluride Colorado Snow & Ski Report - Mountain Facts Figures
Telluride Colorado Current (Snow & Ski) Conditions - Mountain Stats
Telluride ski area is a destination resort, located in the south west corner of Colorado it is near both New Mexico and Arizona. Telluride has become “The New Aspen” over the last several years major celebrities have purchased homes in the area including Oliver Stone and Oprah Winfrey.
Telluride really has everything anyone would look for in a great ski vacation, it has the cool ski village with both upscale hotels and lodging as well as rustic down home amenities with a “rustic cowboy” feel.
Telluride also has the mountain, and one hell of a ski mountain it is with a 3500 vertical feet ski drop and 1700 acres their is plenty for all types of skiers.
- 24% Beginner Terrain
- 38% Intermediate Terrain
- 38% Advanced / Expert Terrain
Telluride also offers skiers and snowboarders a gondola which makes trips to the top of the mountain a bit more comfortable. I have been to Telluride myself but it was on a summer get-a-way trip. I was taken by the scenic views as we drove into the town, their are huge red rock formations that give you a sense that Telluride is a special place. While I have not personally ever skied Telluride the stats speak for them self, hopefully one day I can report back about my ski vacation to Telluride.
