Telluride Ski Resort Webcam & Resort Information

Telluride, the “new” aspen for the rich and famous as well as skiers looking for a classy resort that offers great ski terrain and first class amenities.

I have never had a chance to ski Telluride myself, however I did visit in the summer with several friends. Telluride offers a mountain village that is unlike any I have ever been too, almost a European feel with a hint of the west. I know it sounds crazy – you just have to visit to understand.

Telluride is NOT a day-trip ski area but rather a ski destination, Telluride is located in an isolated area near Durango Colorado in the southwestern corner of the state. Because of it’s location those skiing on the mountain are usually locals or skiers in for a ski vacation. This makes for an uncrowded mountain and some excellent skiing with little to no lift lines (except during the holiday season when most resorts have lines). Telluride offers some top notch hotels and accomidations – if you want to be pampered off the slopes that is not a problem.
